Share draft accounts enable you to write checks on our service charge free account. Dividends are computed daily and posted monthly. You can set up ACH's (
Automatic Clearinghouse)or any other electronic debit/credit such as payroll deductions and automatic deductions on your share draft account free of charge.
No per check charge
Automatic transfers from Share account as courtesy three time a month free to cover overdrafts. After three times there will be a fee. (see fee schedule)
ATM card
In addition to the above, our checking accounts offers the following features:
Receive a Visa Cash & Check Card (Debit Card) accepted anywhere VISA is accepted, or at any ATM or Point of Sale device that displays the STAR or PLUS logo.
Establish overdraft protection from your savings account or an established line of credit.
All purchases made with the Visa Cash and Check Card are deducted directly from your checking account. There is no transactional or monthly fee associated with the Visa Cash and Check Card when used at the point of sale. ATM Transaction fee is $1.00 per transaction.
VISA ATM/DEBIT CARD
UDCU belongs to the Visa, Star, Exchange and Accel network allowing access to thousands of ATM's throughout the U.S. Your debit card is linked to you share draft account. Use it at Point of Sale or at the ATM and money will be withdrawn from your share draft account directly.

This is the primary account that you are required to open with at least 5 shares at a par value of $5.00($25.00) deposit to become a member. However in order to avoid $5.00 monthly service the aggregate balance of all your accounts should not be below $100.00!
